Dont be a slave ??

I read this article in the net.. I thought it would be of some help to u.. So i thought of putting it in my blog..

Life of an IT employee :--

"daily i go to the office that looks like jig saw puzzle of concrete and glass. The building
reflects everything and you cannot see the world behind it ,same implies to the person who work
there, they "work work and work" without complain, season changes ,sun sets ,festivals comes, people die and new light comes into the earth , but do anything changes ?.

1>6 figure salary,Honda city, London during summer and Australia during winter, good
bride everything settled ,everything "as usual"
i am computer science graduate and have some "formal inquisitiveness" about programming
but at the end of the day "Ami i satisfied ", do i am able to make any change in any part
of myself or in the world

actually i am a six figure number "employer id" ,if i go will it effect my work and workplace?

Other person will come and replace me ?

Do i have to complete a work that is destined to be done in 10 days by 5 person in a
single day?

Do i have to suffer for others "so called manager" who even cannot solve a basic "unitary
method" and give a wrong estimation?

A fresh work comes that have 6 months deadline "tagged on it" actually
starts on 5th months because lack of communication between client and the vendor.

Do i have to spoil the entire biological cycle and work 24 cross 7 to finish this
in convivial work that is the result of some body's fault .

Do "our managers" think that we are in some pristine pre historic ape man who
dont need to socialize.

Do we are puppets whose "string are tied to the hands of the clock, run by our managers"

Only solution is that i can think is "please say no"

My be your apprisal will be effected ,maybe your friend will get high remuneration and on site
too,but at the end of the day you still have some time from your "golem" life for yourself

you can go to some movie, park, u can read a good story book, at least you have time to think?

For me i have already drawn the curtains down , and i am planning to sit in drivers seat and drive my life towards the finish line.

I am not going to die "in 2 cross 2 cubicle" surrounded with word and excel

i will try to innovate ,i will try to make my future?

I dont want to work like a cyborg and end my weekends in some bar

I am planning for higher education i am planning for striving towards excellence by opening
some business

I am carrying a "torch" of hope, imagination and faith, if gebrselassie can ran Km after
Km without being exhausted , why i cannot do it.

I may not be a prodigy i may not be a person from IIT or IIM but i will keep my fires
burning till put the goal in the net.

I maybe sleeping for 6 hours ,may be missing my best film, maybe less socializing
but still i don't want to repent at my later life that i missed the bus

I don't want to give any grandulent message but i want to say if you have a dream
don't sleep, wake up and go for it...................................................

Into the most important period of my life!!

Its been a very long time since I have blogged.Today i felt like blogging and so i am back to it...
I am now doing my sixth sem ..This sem and the next sem are the most important periods for any engg.student.This is the time where many companies generally recruit students.. Actually nowadays i hardly find time to sleep. It looks like it s been ages since i ve been a slumber jack.. Generally, many to be graduates are roped in by many companies.. But as luck would have it, just when I am gearing up to be empoyed I find myself challenging a few important crisis like economic recession, sacking of employees, and now more recently I think the blackmark caused by Satyam and Mr.Ramalinga Raju will have its effect on all IT companies in India,,

But neva mind whatever happens I am being highly optimistic that I ll get placed..Tomo s a holiday being Moharram so I need to catch up on my sleep.Until then same blog, same time, next day..

Typical Life of a Sairam student!!

This is my first blog so i am relatively new to blogging..I am anjana karthik in short called as karthik, currently doing my engg.in a college in chennai.. So let me start my first blog by giving u an insight into the life of a typical sairam student..

The moment i stepped into the portals of Sri Sairam Engg.College on Sept.07,2006 , i got a feeling that i was very lucky to be a part of this college. Very soon i was led to my class-room by a few young smart lads who looked very formal with their ties. The moment i stepped into the class i felt like an alien. I managed to sit next to another boy who seemed to be very silent.. We both started giving our intros and finally managed to strike a conversation after some time.. This fellow was none other than "Mr.Vinoo Kurien Thomas" . After a few minutes of chitchatting with other ppl around me a stern looking professor came inside..Oh My God!! She looked damn strict. She introduced herself as Rajeshwari of Chem.department.. After a few minutes of explaining the rules and regulations of the college, we were asked to sign in eight different forms. ( don know what they were, even till today).A few volunteers came by giving us our id cards (life of a Sairam student) and a calendar.
After a few minutes we were asked to proceed to the auditorium for our induction day.. The moment they said auditorium i visualised it as completely air-conditioned, nice comfortable cushioned chairs, clearly audible, interesting speakers and so on.. But my dreams were shattered when they showed us a shamiana and under which a few hundred chairs which they supposedly called as Open Air Auditorium. The function began and i was listening to it with some interest but later on it became absolutely boring.. At about 1.30 we had our lunch ( pretty ok) and post lunch we were shown all the labs by our ECE HOD Madam Rajini.. At about 4 i boarded my route bus and finally was back home at about 5.30 . Thus my first day at Sri Sairam Engg. College ended with mixed feelings..
And then followed as usual boring classes and very soon my first year in engg.was over..
No longer i was a junior, i stepped foot into the dept. of ECE with great expectaions.

My second year was more eventful than my first year. I loved to present papers and the thrill of presenting papers was awesome. Most of my second year went off in paper presentaions.
